It’s My Favorite Night of the Month!

What an honor it is to bring people together for good food and excellent music.  To see so many people enjoying talent and connecting with each other muscians and audience is a joy.  I have watched guests listen to the music and get up and dance, or join in the circle thrilled to be a part of a circle of song.  I have seen artists that didn’t believe in themselves sit in the cirlce and gain confidence and experience.  I get to watch the ‘experienced’ muscians pass on wisdom and support to a rising generation and to those that never took a chance before.   Music connects us, moves us deeply in our soul and transcends language, cultural, and social barriers.

Music is like a social glue, bringing people together and fostering a sense of community and belonging.  Music is deeply rooted in my life.  I began playing the piano at the age of 5.   It is relaxating,  supports stress reduction, and emotional processing,  and helps people to connect with their inner selves and improve mental wellness.  Music inspires creativity and fuels imagination, both for the creators and the listeners.
